Tuan Nguyen, MSc

As a PhD candidate at Hasselt University, Belgium and Master graduate in Economics & Ecology at Toulouse School of Economics, France, my interest spans the domains of terrestrial ecosystems and human impacts on the environment and biodiversity. A large part of my focus in the previous few years was building up scientific experience in the fields of environmental economics and biodiversity conservation. Prior to that, I also gained valuable practical project management experience as the founder of an agroecological project working with farmers in Vietnam. I aim to further combine scientific and practical expertise toward the development of sustainable, scientific and socially-feasible nature-based solutions for the agriculture sector in Vietnam as well as other megadiverse countries in the world.
