NAFOSTED

National Foundation for Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED) aims to create a favourable research environment that meets international standards in order to enhance national S&T capacity, including improving the research quality and developing high-quality human resources in S&T. In 2017, IREEDs was successfully funded by NAFOSTED to conduct a research on the impact of the beach erosion in Vietnam by using both theoretical modelling and empirical methods (ECO-EROSION-VIET). The central aim of the project is to develop solid and robust economic tools for assessing the economic losses due to coastal erosion in Vietnam and to measure the economic values that would be generated by various mitigation or adaptation measures.
