CNES

The French National Center for Space Research (CNES) is a French government space agency. Its headquarters are located in central Paris and it is under the supervision of the French Ministries of Defence and Research. During 2021-2022, IREEDs became a strategic partner of CNES to conduct VietSCO projects in Vietnam. By using remote sensing and satellite data (e.g. Sentinel-1 data), the project aims to monitor  the impact of climate change on rice crops as well as calculating the socio-economic impact of typhoons.
